The Career Redesign Program is made up of a number of essential elements centered around a face to face workshop and supported with a follow up consultation, resource materials, dynamic and reflective activities and a personalised plan all designed to move participants from ideas to action. 

The Workshop Design 

This is a very practical and powerful workshop that supports you to create an effective pathway to a newly designed career. It will help you identify essential elements, get clarity on what you really want, figure out what will enable or inhibit you to make the transition and then work on a realistic timeline and action plan. Overall you'll come out of this workshop with the confidence that you have taken the first steps to redesigning your career.

Over two half day sessions, with preparation activities before you start and reflection activities after session one, you will develop an action plan supported through a carefully managed and personalised approach. 


A follow-up post workshop one on one consultation supports you to further work through any challenges or questions that arise.



Step 1: The first step enables you to explore your need for change and undertake self-assessment activities that provide the essential clues to figure out what you really want in a career. 

Step 2: The next step identifies the fears and challenges and creates a plan to minimise these.

Step 3: The final step helps you create empowering strategies that set priorities through a personal action plan. 


Step 4: Post Workshop: A follow up one on one consultation to work through further issues and turn this plan into real action. 


The workshop uses activity based and creative techniques, drawn from a variety of expert sources,  to unlock your ideas and support participants to create a career plan that works.  

You’ll also be in a supportive, non threatening environment with like minded people.

Workshop size kept to 16 participants.                                         

It will present options like networking, volunteering and retooling as ways to think about a new kind of work. Many of you may also be thinking about going solo and becoming a consultant or entrepreneur.

What this workshop covers

We'll explore the internal reflective and external real world issues that are driving this need for change. What’s the psychological framework that can explain our personal feelings for change as these can assist to clarify our personal values and motivators.

Where do I start? Undertake self-assessments that provide clues to help figure out what you're looking for and the kind of roles you could play.

Identify the fears, risks, challenges and create a plan to reduce these. Determine if you are financially ready to make the transition. Learn how to find a community of interest seeking the same answers and understand the value of networking, volunteering and retooling for a new kind of work.
